"When it opened in July 2016, the Welcome Center Erzgebirge was the first of its kind in a Saxon district. This gives us a certain lead over other districts that started setting up their own Welcome Centers later. In view of demographic and employment trends, the recruitment and integration of national and international workers and skilled workers is particularly important. In addition to highlighting career prospects, it is important to inspire potential skilled workers for the Ore Mountains and to establish effective contacts with local stakeholders. As a service point, the Welcome Center Erzgebirge provides advice and support to regional companies and newcomers to the Ore Mountains."
